Georgia Writers Museum in Eatonton announced the release of the second, expanded edition of Book Mark: How to Be an Author. Already attracting national readership, this hands-on resource is designed to launch writers on their quest to become successful authors.

Written by Chip R. Bell, local author of nine national best-selling books, the paperback features guidance from two inductees to the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame—Terry Kay on fiction writing and Michael Bishop on science fiction writing.

Also contributing “how-to” chapters are two women honored as “Georgia Authors of the Year”—Alice Friman on writing poetry for publication and Gail Karwoski on creating profitable children’s books.

Other local award winning authors offering advice include Lisa McLeod, George Heiring, Mark Engel, Kathy Wright, John Dennis and Gail Vail.
