Dalton Carpet one has locations in Athens, Lake Oconee and Gainesville. Mike Blanton, founder of Dalton Carpet One, first worked in the flooring industry as an installer for his Mother’s flooring company. In 1978, Mike opened his first store in Athens, then called Dalton Carpet Outlet. In 1980, Mike opened the Gainesville store and in 1988 the name changed to Dalton Carpet One, after joining the nationwide cooperative, Carpet One. In 2000, Dalton Carpet One opened its store at Lake Oconee.
Dalton Carpet One will be expanding their showroom in the Lake Oconee location, so go by and see them once it’s been completed!
