EATONTON, GA (February 8, 2018) — The Putnam Development Authority will attend the 2018 Pittcon Conference in Orlando February 27th through March 1st in order to recruit bioscience companies to the Rock Eagle Technology Park in Eatonton, Putnam County, Georgia.

With over 130 acres of developable land, the Rock Eagle Technology Park is an ideal location for bioscience centered businesses wanting to expand or relocate their companies to Central Georgia.

Aalto Scientific, Ltd. who relocated their Carlsbad, California corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility was the first company to develop in the park. They constructed a 76,000‐square‐foot production and warehouse facility, as well as, a 15,000‐square‐foot facility to house their subsidiary, AUDIT MicroControls, Inc. They join more than 400 bioscience companies currently operating in Georgia.

Partners offering resources to local bioscience companies include the Putnam County Charter School System (host to an award‐winning College and Career Academy), Central Georgia Technical College, six universities, and the Georgia Bioscience Training Center.
