PUTNAM COUNTY RESIDENTS TO BE FEATURED ON HGTV’s ‘TINY HOUSE, BIG LIVING’, AUGUST 24TH, ON THE DIY NETWORK
Eatonton, GA – July 29, 2017: Eatonton residents, John & Fin Kernohan, and their ‘Tiny Firehouse - Station No. 9’ will be on HGTV’s “Tiny House, Big Living”, along with Putnam’s Andrew Ringer, Jason Green, Free Range Homes, and Putnam County Fire Rescue.
The “Traveling Tiny Firehouse” airs August 24, 2017, 9:00PM (EST), on the DIY Network, “Tiny House, Big Living” (Season 6, Episode 1)
Earlier in 2017, The Kernohans worked with Free Range Homes for the creation of their “Tiny Firehouse - Station No. 9”, the very first tiny house honoring the heroes of our Nation who serve their communities as fire fighters and first responders… and the entire build process was filmed in Eatonton and around Putnam County by film crews from HGTV.
The “Tiny Firehouse - Station No. 9” is the brainchild, and 148sqft travel home, of John and Fin Kernohan, who are not only the organizers of our Nation’s largest tiny house festival, the 60K+ attendee 2016 Florida Tiny House Festival, but they are also the organizers of the for-charity Tiny House Festivals held throughout the US in multiple states… including the 2016 and 2017 Georgia Tiny House Festivals, which have been held in Eatonton. (Note: The Kernohans have donated 100% of the admission and vendor proceeds to the venue owners of where they have held their two Georgia Tiny House Festivals in Eatonton.)
Eatonton-based Free Range Homes is the collaboration and partnership of Andrew Ringer of Kayco Construction and Jason Green of Towable Tailgates. Together, they, and their Free Range team, have been producing some of the finest quality tiny homes available in the tiny house community - including their Best of Show win, out of the 97 tiny structures, at the 2016 Florida Tiny House Festival.
Please join The Kernohans, Free Range Homes, and members of Putnam County Fire Rescue (who were also filmed for the episode), on August 24, 2017, at Georgia Butts BBQ, for the Airing Party of the ‘Tiny Firehouse - Station No. 9’ episode on ‘Tiny House, Big Living’; and for tours of the ‘Tiny Firehouse - Station No. 9’ and another Free Range Homes’ built tiny house.
